  • Location: Dayton, OH or Syracuse, NY
    Travel: 50%

  • Job Responsibility

  • Individual will engage in new product development, maintain changes, and product cost. Will also handle project management for commercial jobs which include evaluate, quote, consult, execute, and bill.

  • Ownership of product design and change management process.

    • Evaluate changes
    • Review and approve deviations
    • Implement drawing and documentation changes
    • Maintain rev control
    • Build prototypes to assess fit, form, & function
    • Assess manufacturability of product

  • Preferred Experience:

  • B.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 3-5 years in design/application engineering. Knowledge in Pro-E and Autocad and other engineering systems/programs, as well as familiarity with DOE and DFM concepts, FMEA analysis.
