Aeroseal Partners With BPI
BPI is the leader when it comes to developing industry standards in home performance. Aeroseal technology represents a breakthrough in energy efficient building and its sister organization Comfort Institute is the go-to source for best practice training. So when you join these two leaders in a strategic partnership, you instantly create a powerhouse of professionals that are ready to drive the home performance market forward.
And that’s just what happened earlier this month when Aeroseal and BPI announced their partnership.
“From the beginning, Aeroseal has been giving HVAC businesses a straight and clear entranceway into the home performance market, allowing them to apply their existing skills towards a whole new set of services,” said Bryan Barnes, Aeroseal’s senior director of business development. “At the same time, BPI has been developing the standards and professional certification programs that have become the blueprint for high-quality energy efficiency retrofit projects. Together, we’ve established leadership for contractors looking to enter and excel in this emerging market.”
As a result of the partnership, Aeroseal will offer its dealers access to BPI’s GoldStar Contractor program, while its home performance training subsidiary, Comfort Institute, will assist dealers in meeting training and certification requirements needed to join the BPI program. BPI GoldStar Contractors will benefit from the alliance through expanded training opportunities and access to some of the latest innovations in home performance solutions, including Aeroseal’s aerosol-based duct sealing technology.
“Aeroseal’s expertise in developing duct sealing technologies is closely aligned with our house-as-a-system approach to home performance, so this partnership is a natural step for us,” said Larry Zarker, BPI CEO. “Working together, our organizations will be able to offer the technologies, training, business mentorship and services that today’s contractors need to excel in the expanding home performance marketplace.”
The BPI / Aeroseal strategic partnership was first announced to Aeroseal dealers and Comfort Institute members at the recent Aeroseal Success Summit. More than 200 attendees gathered at the three-day event to share skills and learn more about innovations in the home performance market.
