PBS HOMETIME TO FEATURE AEROSEAL
For more than 25 years now, Dean Johnson has been the host of one of the most popular national home improvement programs on TV. As the face of PBS’s HOMETIME, he has been the go to guy for do-it-yourselfers who are looking for the latest tips and innovations in home improvement.
Dean has also been a long-time fan of aeroseal duct sealing technology. He was one of the first home improvement celebrities to share information about this innovation with television viewers and he has used aeroseal to maximize the energy efficiency and comfort of his own home improvement projects. And later this month, you will be able to see first hand how it’s done.
Airing for the first time on the week of January 16th, HOMETIME will include a feature on aeroseal duct sealing. As Dean and his team wrap up touches on a new home they are building in central Minnesota, they bring in the HVAC experts at Flocore to clean and aeroseal the ductwork.
So if you’re thinking about reducing your energy costs or doing something about that spare room upstairs that never seems to get enough heat, then you will certainly want to tune in to the show. Different PBS affiliates air the show at different times so you’ll want to check your listings for the exact air date and time of day. You can also go to the HOMETIME website for complete listing. You’ll want to look for Episode 2913.
In the meantime, here are some behind-the-scenes photographs taken during the shoot.
