Jeff Warther
Homeowner, Indianapolis
"When
Aeroseal first came out, we did a diagnostic on the house
and found out that the duct leakage was over 25% which was a
real big surprise in a new home. Once the process was complete,
the technician showed me the before and after numbers showing
a reduction in leakage of over 80%." |

The Aeroseal air duct diagnostic system
tests specifically find:
- The amount and percentage
of air leaking from the ductwork.
- Inconsistent temperature variations throughout the home.
- Air flow levels for each
room.
- Proper sizing of return air grilles.
- Backdraft and combustion
safety hazard potential for fireplaces, furnaces, and gas
heater rooms and closets.
- Manual repair needs of air duct system.
In an Aeroseal air duct
diagnostic, a certified Aeroseal technician evaluates your
central air duct system and recommends ways to maximize your
savings and improve your home comfort.
Aeroseal's trained and certified technicians use
computer-based tools and reports to gather information about
duct leakage, register temperatures and register airflows.
The diagnostic process includes
the use of a high quality flow
hood and laser sighted infrared non-contact thermometer. These
tools assist the contractor in performing a rapid high quality
assessment regarding the condition of an air duct system.
An air duct system analysis can be completed in approximately
2 hours.
Diagnostic results are documented
in a printed report that is printed on-the-spot and given to a
home owner.

Major
waste: Government studies show huge duct leakage.
The U.S.
Department of Energy and the Electric Power Research
Institute determined ...
25% to 40% of the heating and cooling energy put out by
heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems ... is lost through the duct system. |
